She holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Federal University of Sergipe. She was awarded a Confucius Institute Scholarship to study Mandarin at the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing. Her research focuses on international monetary power and China’s financial digitalization, with an emphasis on central bank digital currencies and the Digital Silk Road. She also works professionally as a Mandarin translator and interpreter.
